A Hackathon on Computer Vision Problems with a focus on Image Classification.
Our winning team effectively utilised the VGG16 model through Transfer Learning to achieve the highest F1 score among participants on test data, thus winning this competition which stretched 8 consecutive hours.

The rationale for this particular recognition was taking the lead in cooperatively achieving a High Availability Functionality through a series of infrastructure and application modifications which ensured the Fiserv developed retail banking solution would be available to the end user 24 by 7 i.e. with minimum if not zero downtime.

Received Recognition from Fiserv Senior Management for quickly and efficiently detecting the root cause for an Apache Web Server bug, which resulted in users experiencing latency issues while accessing the Fiserv hosted retail banking application. RCA was performed in a time which met SLAs set with the client to reduce impact to end users, leading to appreciation from both the bank as well as Fiserv Senior Management.
DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY - SYSTEMS AND CONTROL MEDAL

Awarded in Systems and Control Technology in 2007 during GCSEs for exemplary performance and diligence in studies. Also implemented a 14 month manufacturing project for creating a burglar alarm conforming to industry standards. All manufacturing processes inclusive of soldering, design, vacuum moulding, jig formation etc. were used which was a crucial factor in receiving the award.
